INFORMATION

Leslie Hercules Asker enlisted with the AIF on the 25th November 1915 and was allocated to the 14th Field Artillery Reinforcements with the rank of Gunner. He was promoted to Bombardier on the 19th of March and Acting Sergeant with the No:2 Section Divisional Ammunition Company on the 19th April 1916.

Leslie was promoted to Temporary Battery Sergeant Major on the 11th November 1916 in France.

INFORMATION

Frederick Harvey enlisted with the 1st Field Artillery Brigade AIF on the 24th August 1914 and embarked for the Suez Canal on the 18th October 1914 on board HMAT 8 "Argyllshire" but was returned to Australia on board the SS "Ulysses" suffering from SYNOUITIS of the Right Knee before being Discharged as Medically Unfit Frederick re enlisted with the 3rd Reinforcements 34th Battalion AIF on the embarked from Sydney on board HMAT A68 "Anchises" on the 24th of August 1916 and was disembarked at Devonport, England on the 11th of October 1916. The 3rd Reinforcements were marched to Durrington Army Camp at Lark Hill to commence training with the 9th Training Battalion.
