Thomas Ernest Mustey enlisted with the 5th Reinforcements 60th Battalion AIF on the 15th of June 1916 and left Melbourne, Victoria on board HMAT A9 "Shropshire" on the 25th of September 1916 and returned to Australia on the 11th of January 1918.

Thomas had a older brother who served in the Great War Private: 1875 George MUSTEY. 34th Battalion AIF.

Family Information
Thomas was a 25 year old widowed Labourer from Rochester, Victoria where he lived with his mother Hanorah at Dudley Street.
